GRAPHIC AND WEB DESIGN
I have taken many college courses based on design principals and learning design software in the Adobe Creative Suite. Below you will find some of my graphic design work, as well as some designs I have done for websites or apps from those classes.
Tool Creation Using Only Shape Builder Tool
For my Digital Imaging class I was tasked with making a set of realistic looking tools using only shapes and the shape builder tool in Adobe Illustrator, which meant no pen tool usage was allowed. First, I gathered reference images for the tools, which can be seen by scrolling through the images below. I decided to create a set all from the same brand. I then took the reference images into Illustrator and determined what shapes would best be used to create each tool. I then started using those shapes and the shape builder tool to add and subtract to the overall image until I was left with the tool I was going for. From there it was all about gradients to really bring the realistic feel to the metal and plastic pieces.
SRU Poster Design
For the final project in my digital imaging class I was tasked with creating a poster for SRU based on a specific art style from the time periods we learned about. I chose to try to recreate German Expressionism digitally using Adobe Illustrator and our mascot Rocky.
Bear Athletics Logo
For my Digital Imaging class I was given a randomized client name, and tasked with creating a logo in color, black and white, and grayscale. My client was "Bear Athletics", and this was the logo that I designed using Adobe Illustrator.
Peak Visualz Test Gear Management App
For my Interactive multimedia 3 class I was tasked to create a mock up of a working gear and inventory management app. Below are a few images of the app, but you may also use this link to use the interactive version:
Carbon City Software and Technology Logo
For my multimedia 1 class I was given a randomized client name, and tasked with creating a logo for that client. My client was "Carbon City Software and Technology", and this was the logo that I designed using Adobe Illustrator.
